A FIRM FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE

Airways Technology was formed in 1991 with original offices in Santa Rosa, California, to develop top-notch computer software for the aviation community. With ease-of-use and high feature counts in mnd, a flight planning program was to be the first product. The Highly Interactive Geographic Information System (HIGIS) technology was developed as the foundation for this and related product lines. The scope of the company was later changed to support search and rescue efforts and radar analysis utilities. The HIGIS technology is now implemented in the company's SAR ViewPoint and Radar ViewPoint products.

A PRODUCT OF UNCOMMON QUALITY

Radar ViewPoint was in development for over four years. The program incorporates HIGIS technology which includes innovative three-dimensional databases to quickly locate and display geographical information. The set of programs is a significant undertaking: over 340 source code files, including over 3.0 million bytes of and more than 100,000 lines of source code. Radar ViewPoint was written using the object oriented language C++, and is Microsoft Windows compatible.
