Radar ViewPoint, a powerful, yet easy-to-use radar data analysis tool. Incorporates Airway Technology's exclusive Hightly Interactive Geographic Information System (HIGIS) technology that lets you view, analyze, and printout recorded radar information in ways not possible until now.
Radar ViewPoint is rich with features yet has a low system requirement--even runs on older laptop PCs configured with Windows 3.1 or better.
Aeronautical Features: Airports, navaids, airways, fixes, and special use airspaces.
User Defined Waypoints: Uses: Radar antenna sites, radio stations, or other information.
Custom Graphics. Add graphic data to maps: lines, circles, boxes, and text.
Crash Information. Includes all data within the AFRCC Crash Locator data base.
Radar Data Sources. Utilities for rapid NTAP and CDR data conversion to program's hightly optimized data files. Custom formats available upon request.
Combine Reports. Put multiple NTAP or CDR reports in one continuous radar sequence. Establish continuity between successive runs.
Just Point to any radar hit. Automatically displays the target's information and shows average horizontal and vertical speeds relative to the reference target.
Target Filters. Hide unwanted radar data by specifying: altitude rance, beacon codes, aircraft identifier, time period, and/or geographic area.
Target Labels. Flexible control of radar target labels. Single out certain tracks, specify information to display, and select where labels appear related to radar hit.
Animate Radar Hits. See the targets come to life by shifting the time window forward or backward.
Synchronize with voice tapes. Animates radar data to match timed recordings.
Separation rings can be displayed with up to three tracks. You set the ring size.
Separation Analysis. Reports between two or three tracks can be displayed, printed, or exported.
Highlight targets that possibly tie to a track that 'dead ends' into a radar coverage hole.
Pan and Zoom. Quickly and easily shift (pan) the chart or zoom to a wide range of scales.
Reduce Screen Clutter. Easily filter out unneccessary chart information.
Just Point to get information about charted data or click for more detailed information.
Zoom to Identified Locaiton. Press 'Z', then enter identifier, coordinate, or grid number.
Print displayed chart. Printouts may be overlaid on your own map.
DEM -- Digital Elevation Model data gives elevation and produces a relief style background map.
Coordinate Calculator. Determines distance, angle, speed, ETA, fuel consumption, winds aloft, magnetic variation, and projects to a new point. Also used to build precise graphics.
Electronic Ruler. Measures distance between two points on the screen. Also shows azimuth in true and magnetic headings.
Proximity Search. Scan through the databases for the nearest airports, navaids, fixes and user-defined waypoints. You define the search criteria.
On-line Help. Simply press the F1 key to receive in-depth help text for your current activity.
